To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Flight of The Earls, Donegal County Council Public Art Program in association with the arts organisation Moving On Music produced a major arts and community project in the Fanad peninsula. From December 2006, composer Elaine Agnew and writers Kate Newmann and Cathal O’Searcaigh led a programme of music and writing workshop in schools in the Fanad Penninsula.

Flight of the Earls Outreach Project, 2010
Artist involved were Composer Elaine Agnew, Cathal O’Searcaigh, Tommy Peoples, Kate Newmann, Irish Chamber Orchestra, Gabriele Mirabassi. Year of Installation: Premiere - Sun 16th Sept. 07. Details of Commissions: Direct Invitation. The musical proformance was held in St Peter's Church Milford, Co. Donegal, Ireland.
